Living and Non-Living Things

🌈
Let's Explore the World Around Us!

🌈 Hello Little Explorer!

Have you ever wondered what makes your pet dog so full of energy, but your teddy bear just lies still? Why does a flower grow, but your toy car doesn't?

That's because the world is made of living things and non-living things!

Let's learn how to tell them apart—and have fun while doing it!

🐶 What Are Living Things?

Living things are alive! They can:

🏃‍♂️ Move
(like a cat chasing a ball)
🍽️ Eat
food to get energy
💤 Grow
(like a baby becoming taller!)
❤️ Feel
and respond (plants bend towards sunlight)
👶 Have babies
(your puppy has tiny pups!)

Examples of Living Things:

👥 People
🐕 Animals
🐦 Birds
🐠 Fish
🌱 Plants
🐛 Insects

🧸 What Are Non-Living Things?

Non-living things are not alive. They do NOT grow, eat, move, or feel.

But wait! Some non-living things used to be living—like wood! 🌳

Examples of Non-Living Things:

🧸 Toys
📚 Books
🪑 Chairs
☀️ Sun
💧 Water
🪨 Rocks
